get the baby to an emergency room ASAP!!!!!!!!! If the baby isn’t having bowlmovements and is puking, it has an obstruction somewhere. VERY SERIOUS!! GO NOW!!

Yes, he may have nothing in his stomach from puking. It is very important to take him in to the hospital. Watch for fever and don’t over/undermedicate. Also infants become dehydrated faster than you and I.

Take him to the hospital you don’t know what could be wrong with your baby. It could be the formula or something else just it’s always better to be safe than sorry and you’ll learn that being a mom.

Take him to the hospital… and if he’s been vommiting then there is nothing for him to move in his bowels or he has an obstruction or many other possible ailments…either way TAKE YOUR BABY TO THE HOSPITAL….NOW!!
No one on here can help your baby…. but you should mention to the nurses and/or doctor that before you could make a judgment about what to do with your seriously ill 10 week old baby you just had to ask the Yahoo online community so you sat on the computer for a bit to get some answers while your child became more and more ill… The doctor will know what to do from there

I would take him in, you may have to change his formula to no iron.

does he get diaper rash easily and cry a lot? If so, it could be a dairy allergy, my oldest did that. He went five days without a bm when he was about that age, the doctor told me to take glyceryin soppositories and cut them in fourths and try that… worked like a charm. And he puked CONSTANTLY, my clothes smelled like sour milk for months. But the allergies need to be addressed if that is the problem. If you breastfeed, try cutting all milk products from your diet for a week and see if that helps, or if you formula feed try a dairy free version. Good luck, I hope this helps!

Yes as a matter of fact. Does he puke say up to 2 hrs after he eats? Nasty smelling… If yes there is a chance he has a milk allergy or is lactos intollerent.
I have 2 out of my 4 that are and it was a fight with the dr. He said try this and then we need to do this… I kept telling him we had milk allergys in the family and… Could it be that… He did not think so but really would not listen to me. So after he said he was going to call in a script we needed to try with the first one I told him NO. We were going to try the soy formual, he said he would not but could not stop us… After the first bottle our daughter was happy and kept things down. Oh so nice not to get puked on all the time. Also her dipers became normal again…
Another thing that was happening was both of them had bad gas, so there tummy was hard and hurt so they cried alot. There are drops for the gas that will help.
Of course it is up to you and may take a day or 2 for the dipers to even out. But the cost of one can of soy formula VS the ultrasound.
If you son is lactos intollerent then keep an eye out for exema as he grows. Milk products make it worse on my two.
Of course if you are breast feeding then none of this applies LOL. But you did not say what you were feeding him so we can only guess. There is always the chance of a bug, but normaly that makes food shoot straight threw.
Also you may want to check family history. Find food allergys… it helps to know for when your little one grows. My sister, dad and grandfather have milk allergys, but not the my dads sisters, not sure about my grandfathers brothers and sisters. Mine is not as bad and my sisters and it comes and goes. 2 of my 4 children are lactose intollerent where I have an allergy and am lactose intollerent. My other 2 childen do not have problems with milk but there children may…
So even if you and your love do not have allergerys you may carry it in your genes and have passed it on.
I hope that helps. Just remember your drs dont know it all.
