It is true that children sleep more during the project development? My child is nearly 7 weeks and was more hungry and sleeping more the last couple of days. This is just a stream of development?
5 Answers & Suggestion to “baby growth spurt question?”
Sure is. First oen is around 6 weeks old. My son slept for 6 hours one day scared me senseless when I realized how long it had been as he was nursing every hour and a half to two hours then!@
sometime between 6-8 weeks is prime growth spurt time. You may notice in the next week or two that his clothes are fitting him more snugly, some may not fit at all. This is when a lot of kids gain a good amount of weight, and jump from the newborn to the 3-6 months clothes.
just go with the flow on his feedings (especially if breastfeeding) his body knows what he needs.
yes babies sleep more and feed more!
I remember when my daughter was at this age (she is 4 months now) and she wanted to feed every two hours (usually it was four hours!) I panicked and thought that my breast milk wasn’t good enough for her and that I was starving her etc.
The Cafhs lady said to me oh no this is just a growth spurt. I wish she had told me at the previous visit to expect this so I didn’t panic and stress!

First huge growth spurt is around 6 weeks! You’re on time!
Just as you are getting into the grove of feedings, you have babies to throw everything off again!
