How to entertain a 2month old?

I have a newborn to 10 weeks old, I love to interact with you, but sometimes I function from things to do. . i know that is still young but im that question just what kind you do when your child is awake?

smile n i’ve seen my small bro would see cartoons lik stare at the television n laugh but would cry if the volume is toooooo high just try it

Another thing that I have found entertains my son (still at 10m) is smelling the things in the pantry: different spices, peanut butter, coffee, particularly smelly jars of things in the fridge like pickles and lemon curd….

singing as theyll love to hear your voiceas much as possible! some changing colour lights, maybe a baby gym that you can lie them under and they can look up at the shapes and lights…..

my daughter is 9 weeks old and when shes awake and happy i talk to her and rub her cheeks and give her tummy time, take her nappy off (she loves being naked hehe) i give her a bath she loves this too, but some babies dont like it so if your little girl doesnt then maybe try something else, she might not be too interested in toys but show her some that rattle or make noises, dangle things in her face like mirrors or show her a light and get her to follow it, i basically just talk to her though and i go to town on the silly noises, u can place something or i just use my body at her feet and get her to push her legs againest me, its good exercise for them, put her on her tummy and put toys in front of her she might try and reach for them, but they dont care if they play the same games or if you make the same noises they just love to interact with u

singing, my daughter loves patty cake and most of the time gets a kick out of it. I also take her outside and sit with her, most babies love the outdoors and it is something else to do when you run out of places to go in the house… just sit in the shade and don’t take her out if there are a lot of bugs about, especially mosquito’s.
