Just be more vigilant with washing your hands. Use a tissue to sneeze into and to wipe your nose and throw it away after one use. Try not to kiss her too much, as hard as i’m sure that will be! Keep her hands away from your face. Just basically keep her away from your nose and mouth area as much as you can. But more importantly, try and get some rest! Sleep whenever she sleeps. Get plenty of fluids into you. And try and get pampered as much as you can when possible! Take care of yourself and I hope you get better soon!
it is not likely that you are going to be passing your baby the flu if you have it your body is making antibody’s to fight it off and when you breast feed those antibodies are being passed on to you baby and if the baby does catch this cold it would only be very mild not as severe as yours just let your body do its work drink plenty of fluids and this can only make your baby’s immune system stronger with no medication good luck
Wash your hands, wash your hands, wash your hands. That is going to be your best defense. Wash your hands before and after anything. Sneeze into your arm instead or your hands. Every time you wipe your nose, rub your eyes, eat, breastfeed, etc. you should wash your hands.
My Dr has adviced me that breast fed babies dont get the cold from the mummy as they are protected with your milk. but just dont kiss her until your get over your cold.
