Is it true that when babies start growing to fast that there is another baby on the way?
My grandma says that it means the baby is trying to make room for someone else, usually a younger sibling. Is this fact or fiction in your experience?

not true my baby is growing everyday just like any other baby and im not pregnant or close to getting pregnant

fiction. My son was an average baby, who grew at an amazing rate, and is now 5 yrs old and over 4 feet tall!! He now has a baby brother on the way, but there is no change in his growth rate

How in the world can one have anything to do with the other? Did your grandma also tell you if you pull a gray hair 10 will take it’s place?

It’s an old wives tale (probably where your grandmother got it from.) It’s like any old wives tale, sometimes it’s true, sometimes it’s not. Usually when kids do things developmentally is what this is referring to, not weight or height gain.

May have been true in Grandma’s time when most women got pregnant every two years or so but not so much now.

Sounds like an old wives tale. I really doubt there is any type of scientific evidence to back this up.

Old wives tale. Not true at all. My baby is growing really, really fast, and there is NO chance that she will have a sibling anytime soon… if ever! I am not even having sex….
Now, if you are having unprotected sex.. THAT means there is a baby on the way… maybe
All babies grow super fast for the first couple years. Some grow faster than others, but they all generally grow fast. Not all of them get a younger sibling.. unless the parents (or mother and a different guy if thats the case) are trying to, or having careless, unprotected sex.
