Too much exercise for a breastfeeding mom?
I 'VE the gi? cos? now has the weight of my pregnancy, I 'm just trying to get back into the picture. After the loss of all my energy within 3 months and have had a child, I 'M motivated now to practice but I am worried that I 'm. that too. The met? motivation? to get back into the picture. The met? ? to keep my child (and newborn) entertained. As a result, my husband and I remove our kids for a walk from 1-1.5 miles in the morning and evening I delete the kids for a walk 2-3 miles. After my son goes to bed and my daughter? fed, the Level I or trot for 15 minutes in our basement or does pilates. I 'M Observers on the weight designs for mothers of breast-feeding, mainly perch? my husband works for them and get it (and meetings) for free. I 'm. above for losing the most weight (not a priority hours anyway) and I just to be 'safe, m. eating enough of the green. Of course I 'm. drinking enough water (I don 'drink the pop tonnes) and I am 100% alarm as to how to stay hydrated throughout the exercise. I am really anal about stay hydrated and there 's been 0 changes in the production of milk. I see the doctor in 2 weeks for the control after childbirth up and stop always practice when I feel like I 'the VE went too far. MA in the back of my mind, I 'm still worried that I 'm. that too. My daughter? once a month. Oh and I should say that when I do the pilates, I assure you that it's easy to take on my ABS. Sorry for the rugged style of writing – the child was crying in the middle of it. Great times! I know that sounds stupid – I 'm employee to endorphines! I really couldn 'active t stay during pregnancy, mainly because? I was chasing my children around all day and stopped after that? went to bed at 7:30. I had ac – section, however, I was walking about a mile each day after surgery dell'alberino by 2 weeks. My doctor wasn 't it? worried when I asked, but I was just worried now that I 'm. that goes too far. The pilates that I have more? yoga-eske. It 'wind-gi? nice of S.A. a day!

You should be fine. The only time to worry is if you’re having bleeding. I started exercising about 5 weeks after I had my daughter, and I had heavy bleeding for a few days and had to stop.
If you have any spotting or bleeding, take it easy for a few days. But they’re not joking when they say be careful. Keep doin’ what you’re doin’, and you’ll be ok.

C-section or natural..
C-section..remember to be careful. Walking is ok but maybe not jogging or tough pilates. Just because your healed on the outside doesn’t mean you are healed on the inside.
Natural…again walking is ok but the jogging may cause excess sweat with the friction and what not and that could cause an infection..Pilates I think would be ok.

Wow! That would be WAY too much exercise for me to handle!
If you were physically active prior to and during your pregnancy, staying hydrated like you say, and not feeling too strained, then I think you’ll be fine! You are eating healthy and your breastmilk isn’t affected, so I wouldn’t be worried unless you are wearing yourself out.
More power to ya, sister – I wish I was that motivated!

You sound like your doing good to me. You make sure you eat enough and healthily. You make sure you are hydrated. As long as the exercise is not causing you to bleed heavier you should be OK. When I tried to exercise I started bleeding really heavy. I couldn’t exercise until he was around 2-3 mos.

I think all that exercise is plenty okay – but trying to diet at the same time and nursing is maybe not the best thing. I know of at least one mom who was fine until she started doing the same thing and her son soon was starving. He had been find the first 3 months and then stopped gaining and his blood showed starvation enzymes. I think she cut out too much fat from her diet. Stick with the excerise, forget calorie restriction and focus on nutrition.

Taking a walk twice a day will be good enough for your condition. Do not do jogging! Selecting the easy kind of Pilate’s postures since you just had a c-section. You do not want to cause an internal breakup. Check the endorphines that you are taking with a physician’s desk reference, see if there is any bad side effects- mood changes, if you use it on a long term basis.
