Consult your pediatrician. Chances are, you’re not the first family to experience this sort of problem. It’s better to be safe than sorry.

  2. 2Beagles Says:

Bomb the house. That way you can leave while the bomb is doing it’s job of killing the fleas. You’ll have to cover everything the baby touches and make sure you put on fresh sheets on the crib.

  3. Lisa L Says:

    Stay away from the fleas

Walnut leaves is an old wives tale but it really works.
But some dried leaves under the crib and around the house
(under things so the dog won’t get at them).

    Try it, it works.

First of all, fleas love “warmth”.So if it is still cold where you are, shut down the furnace and go out for the day – if you can afford it – stay in a Motel. Before you leave, spray all carpeting, couches, corners, and everywhere your mother’s dog was. If you found them in your bed, take all the linen and wash it. Anything you can wash that the dog was on wash. Remember, fleas have a 6-week turn around. You MUST get all the “eggs”! – You will have to leave your premises unfortunately, there is No Other Way. Do it soon and kill all the “nests”. For yourself and husband – bug repellent will work and so does, (don’t laugh) garlic…. cut a cube open and rub it on your ankles – fleas hate the smell and will NOT jump on you. Good Luck and do it while it is still cold outside.
